MARCH 8TH 2018

This week’s kitchen was a gorgeous update and renovation project.  Originally from Massachusetts, The Lennon’s have owned the home since 2002, renting it out in the winters to seasonal residents.  After retiring in 2015, the clients moved into the home as their primary residence.  The original kitchen was starting to wear on the owners, so they decided to redo everything.  From the floors and cabinets, to the sink and appliances, everything was replaced.

The Lennon’s ordered custom cabinetry from IKEA, choosing a light blue-grey color.  Mr. Lennon installed lighting inside the cabinet drawers and doors, for an extra pop of brilliance and light.  He also replaced the old white tile flooring with gray wood planks, added the backsplash, as well as new stainless steel appliances through the entire kitchen.

After seeing our booth at the Tampa Bay Times Home Show at Tropicana Field, the Lennon’s promptly booked an In-Home Appointment with International Granite and Stone Designer Anthony W.  Pretty much sold on Granite from the start, Designer Anthony W. showed the clients some of the quartz samples from his mobile showroom, ultimately changing their minds.

“Anthony was such a nice guy, he really explained it all so I could understand it.” Mr. Lennon said during our Post Install Checkup.

“We got everything we wanted, it wasn’t overpriced, especially with the special edge we wanted.” Mrs. Lennon said

The Lennon’s chose Quantum Quartz in the color Astra. Featuring swirls of black and beige, with the occasional flecks of green, Astra is an elegant color that works well in any home. The clients also wanted some material to be cut for the window sills in their kitchen, to tie all the colors in the space together.  At the customer’s request, the layout was carefully considered as to not have a seam by the kitchen sink.  International Granite and Stone’s programmers and installer’s worked tirelessly to get the job done right, as we strive to maintain good communication and customer service amongst our clients.

Here at International Granite and Stone, Customer Satisfaction is key.  We want you to love your home even more than you already do after we install your custom countertops.  For over 16 years, we’ve worked tirelessly to establish a loyal client base in the Tampa Bay and Orlando Area.
