When the Brinkmann’s moved in, the kitchen had a dark black granite installed, which made the entire kitchen look too shadowed. They replaced all their appliances for the sleek stainless steel look. They were able to keep their cabinetry intact with their Farmhouse Sink, by buying a retrofitted sink. A Retro Fitted sink has a groove between the basin and the Farmhouse lip, that slides right over your cabinetry for the perfect fit. Normally, cabinets need to be cut and modified to accommodate a Farmhouse Sink.
Next, The Brinkmann’s called International Granite and Stone for an In-Home Countertop Consultation with Designer Anthony W. Anthony brought a variety of colors to the home. Brittanicca, Cambria’s most popular design, was an idea they had for the kitchen, wanting a marbled look and feel. They also liked Summerhill, a white-gray color with silver sparkly veins.

“We were really torn between Summerhill and Brittanicca. I knew I wanted something lighter but Brittanicca had too many waves.” Mrs. Brinkmann said.
The beautiful backsplash was from Floor & Decor. We love how it draws the eye in towards the kitchen when you walk into the home. The tile almost looked 3D in person, due to the thin layer of glass in the middle of the Arabesques. It pairs wonderfully with Cambria Summerhill Quartz. The customer also had In-Counter Outlets installed, that pop up out of the Counter when needed. They also had the Island recut, to match the semi-circle end on the other Counter.
Here at International Granite and Stone, Customer Satisfaction is key. We want you to love your home even more than you already do after we install your custom countertops. For over 16 years, we’ve worked tirelessly to establish a loyal client base in the Tampa Bay and Orlando Area.
