I thought I would share some positive feedback on carbo brushed by LG Viatera. I’m a kitchen designer who just visited a kitchen we installed March 2021 and they love it. Any quartz finish that is very dark and matte will show oil marks but is not a defect in the quartz and according to our client is very easily cleaned (reach LG for proper cleaning advice) of all oils and marks. This is NOT a porous product so do not apply sealer. After 19 years as a kitchen designer in my experience it is always best to consult the companies website or the company or fabricator or dealer who sold you the quartz when you have concerns.
Nick I believe you would have a warranty regardless if the fabricator doesn’t actually give it to you. I would then contact LG directly and give them the name of your fabricator. In all the years I’ve sold quartz of all the brand names I’ve not heard of a scenario of pitting like this but again that is what a warranty is for.

I just had carbo brushed installed in my kitchen. This quartz is not as carefree as everyone says. It picks up the natural oils from your hands and skin and stains. I am very disappointed in the porous finish. Like my granite island too much better. Sorry I got this.
Can I seal the quartz and what should I use?

Customer: I had 63 square feet of this installed in my kitchen on 7/10/20 in three different areas and pitted on every area. The installer wouldn’t provide warranty information at the time of install. No way should have this many air bubbles developed through the surface. I wouldn’t purchase again if no one backs their products.
