Natural Stone Products (Granite, Marble, Quartzite)
All Granite, Marble, and Quartzite Countertops are made from natural stone that has been quarried from mountains all over the world. As a natural product, they are prone to variations in color, pattern, and density that actually add to the beauty and charm of the material.
While Granite is a hard stone capable of withstanding the harshest of domestic environments, Marble is fairly soft and functions much better in less used areas. Both materials can be scratched if abused and both can stain if not cleaned up immediately. International Granite and Stone, LLC. (IGS) will warrant your Natural Stone Countertop from any manufacturing or installation defect during the first year after initial installation, except for damage due to chemical or physical misuse, limited to indoor residential installations only.
Manufacturing/Installation Defects include:
-
Seam Separation
-
Unleveled Countertops
-
Falling Sinks
IGS liability is limited to the repair or replacement of the defective Natural Stone piece only, subject to the availability of the granite color. If the color is no longer available, liability is limited to the cash value of the installed piece based on current square foot prices if we determine that a satisfactory repair cannot be made.
Man-Made Stone Products (Quartz)

Manufacturing/Installation Defects include:
- Seam Separation

IGS liability is limited to the labor required to repair or replace the defective piece only, subject to the availability of the material. If the material is no longer available, liability is limited to the cash value of the installed piece based on current square foot prices if we determine that a satisfactory repair cannot be made.
These In-House IGS warranties do not cover countertops that have been moved from their original installed location and do not include natural characteristics of granite such as color variation, water lines, surface marks, fissures, pinholes, resin imperfections such as haze or dimples, or natural aging. Nor does it cover damage caused by items out of our control such as staining, settlement, fire, or acts of nature.
