Meet the Home Owners

The Smythe family originally built the home about three years ago and had International Granite and Stone do all the Countertops in their home.  They loved the work the company did so much, that when they decided to redo the kitchen and update the space, they called International Granite and Stone once again to get the job done right.

“I could have shopped around a little to see if I could haggle on the price, but I trusted the work from International Granite and Stone, the quality of the work was top notch.  We knew we had to go back to them when we decided to change our kitchen color palette.” Mr. Smythe said.

Cambria Quartz Kitchen Remodel in Dunedin, Florida

The homeowners came to International Granite and Stone looking to update the colors of their kitchen. The customers had used our company in the past Jessica A. was able to help the Smythe Family when they approached IGS about a new Cambria Quartz Countertop Color named Annicca. The couple saw the color used on a Home Improvement Show and fell in love with the Gold Tones in the Color.

“We loved the Cambria Quartz, it’s really durable especially around our kids. And I don’t have to use a harsh cleanser to wipe down the products, which is really important to me,” Mrs. Smythe said.

“I loved the color we had, but the new color looks terrific and I like it better. We really liked the look of white like the color we had, but we loved the gold throughout the stone.  We centered the whole kitchen around Gold Accents,” Mrs. Smythe said.

Installing Quartz Kitchen Countertops in Dunedin

Previously, The homeowners had Ella Cambria Quartz in their Kitchen, wanting the look of Marble. Their contractor paired the Countertops with a White Subway Backsplash Tile. The Countertops were the Centerpiece of the Kitchen, and they wanted to change things up.  They replaced the Ella Cambria Countertops with Annicca Cambria Countertops, and accented the kitchen with gold highlights. The homeowners also decided to use an upgraded Cornice Edge on the Countertops after using it in their first Kitchen.  They updated the sink to a White Cast Iron Farm Sink to match the White Countertops.

Installing Kitchen Lighting and Backsplash in Dunedin

The Smythe’s replaced the once trendy White Subway Tile Backsplash that came with the kitchen and updated it with a 3D Gold Penny Round Backsplash.  They also had International Granite and Stone install LED lighting under and on top of the cabinetry for additional lighting in the Kitchen.  They also replaced their pendant lights with two dimmable square gold cage fixtures.

“We really loved that IGS was able to handle our entire Kitchen Renovation Project, from the Countertops and Sinks to the Plumbing and Lighting.  A lot of other companies don’t do that, they leave it up to you to figure it out afterward,” Mr. Smythe remarked.
