Our Edge Selection

An Ogee Flat Edge, with a piece of Half Bullnose laminated underneath
Selecting a natural stone for your countertops can be a long, rewarding process. You’ve searched for the perfect color countertops and slab and finally have it, now what?
Edges are a perfect way to complement your granite or quartz color and to make it look finished and polished.
Countertop Edging can polish off your countertops and give your kitchen or bathroom that oompf or elegance you’re looking for.
At International Granite and Stone, we offer nine different edge options to finish off your countertop look. The standard countertop width is 3 CM in thickness.
6 CM countertops are thicker, and 3 CM edges can be used on 6 CM material. However, there are two exclusive edge options that only work on 6cm, which are Mesa and Cornice. International Granite and Stone is the ONLY fabricator is all of Florida that fabricates a Cornice laminated edge.
To make a 6 CM edge on 3 CM countertops, additional natural stone material is required and is laminated underneath the stone to add the necessary width needed to manufacture the thicker, more elaborate edge.
A trendy granite and quartz countertop edge that is popular now is the Flat Polished Edge.
Our Selection of 3 CM edges is as follows:

Another Edge option we offer is called a Mitered Edge.

A mitered edge is engineered to show no seam, to give an all over seamless look.
A mitered edge is also known as a waterfall edge, for the way the material cascades down the sides of the countertops
The pieces are joined together with color matching epoxy at an angle underneath the stone under your countertop.
This brings the visible outside corners to a 90-degree edge.
