Frequently Asked Questions

1. What is the difference between square foot pricing and slab pricing on granite?

Square foot pricing includes our charge to fabricate and install that product in your home or business. When granite is priced by the slab, it is the price just for the material. If you would like us to fabricate and install the product, please contact us for a free quote.

2. What causes the price in stone to vary so much?

There are several factors that cause the price of the stone to rise. Availability of stone is the most prominent variable in pricing. Green and blue stones are usually the most rare stone on Earth and, therefore, cost more. Quality is another deciding factor. Stones that range in quality are sometimes given the title of "Select," and cost more.

You must also be aware that natural stone comes in a wide variety of slab sizes. These slabs range in size from 45"-80" long and 100"-120" wide; the larger the slab, the more the material costs. Please contact us for the exact slab sizes before you purchase.

3. Will I receive the same exact stone that I see in the photo?

Yes and no. In most cases the photos you see are a representation of the stone we have available. You may receive the exact slab you see pictured or a "sister" slab of that exact stone. Natural stone can vary greatly from lot to lot. We always recommend contacting us before you decide to order a slab so you can see the exact stone you will be receiving.

4. I live out of state and want some stone. How does the shipping process work?

The first thing you want to do is contact us for the exact specifications of your stone (pictures, dimensions, weight). Once you've decided on an exact stone, we will then provide you with a free shipping quote to your local granite fabricator and ship the slabs. It's that easy! We've shipped all across the United States, Canada, and even Internationally.
